Twin Screw Pressurized Impregnator (TSPI)/Twin Screw Extruder

-Also known as High-Pressure Fiberizer for pulp & paper, and Plastic Extruder for Plastic Blending

The TSPI (High-Pressure Fiberizer or Extruder) is made with two parallel, intermeshing and co-rotating screws. Specially designed screw elements to apply dynamic compression upon the fiber during transportation, to separate fibers with kneading action under high pressure and concentration, and at the same time, the hot water dissolves or alkali extracts are discharged by the filter screen on the barrel.

TSPI For CTMP/APMP or Semi-Chemical pulping Process is a proven technology, it is developed for chemi-mechanical pulping with the raw materials of wood chips, bamboo chips and agricultural residues, especially for air-dried raw materials

  • Effectively increase the moisture content of the material, reduce the softening temperature of lignin, lower the power consumption of fiber refining, increase the proportion of long fibers and reduce the fine fiber components.
  • Effectively remove hot water or alkali extract from the material to lower the chemical consumption.
