High voltage motor Siemens (Innomotics) HV C air-cooled

Siemens HV C air-cooled is an ultra-compact, extremely reliable high voltage motor for non-hazardous areas, including Ex zones 2 and 22 (Ex ec and Ex tc), with a power density 10-15% higher than other motors in the same size. The innovative rib and tube cooling concept, as well as a vibration-optimized design concept enable flexible integration into various industry applications.

Robust Design & manufacturing

  • Highly flexible motor design allows for project-specific adaption to customer interfaces (e.g. variable junction box position), enables simplified installation and increased flexibility in plants and systems.
  • Compact and lightweight motor design that increases power by up to 15% and extends component life-span without changing overall size.
  • Vibration-optimized design of the motor, the cable routing inside the motor and the compact, service-optimized terminal box with many possible positions.
  • A uniform platform design for compact, air-cooled motors with or without explosion protection reduces costs over the entire life cycle – from planning and procurement, through engineering and plant integration, to service, warehousing and spare parts management.

Cooling-System

  • Cooling system combines rib and tube cooling with an internal cooling circuit to achieve the most compact design possible with a small footprint while reliably avoiding hotspots.
  • Optimized motor cooling using an advanced fan design. In contrast to conventional concepts, this significantly reduces motor temperature and optimizes the power density.
